I'd stay away from that kit and look at a BTR kit that will give you double springs instead of the singles in that kit. When you get a cam you'll be happy you went with a double spring kit.

That's enough to get your heads done.

I'm just looking to get what I can out of the motor without going crazy. I consider a rocker swap pretty easy. If the heads were to come off now it would make me do a cam swap. I don't want to do that much right now.

I'm just trying to figure out if these things are a viable option. I figure if the set up ran me a grand I would end up recouping roughly 1/2 of that when I start selling stuff after the next phase. Now SLP is claiming only 10-15HP and not sure about TQ... WTF is that all about?

haha no problem man, you can get everything in that kit from SLP from BTR and it will be cheaper and better quality IMO

The same "Yella Terra" rocker set can be had for low $500 and I can get some BTR springs for $300. That's $300 cheaper and arguably better quality. Still the question remains is it worth it dollar wise? I could do the Crane set up for a similar price and get pushrods too.

It's roughly the same hp/dollar ratio of the Pfadt LT's I'm getting...

Yeah I was just using the SLP as an example to spring board the idea off of. I know SLP is more for people who don't know how to figure stuff out... lol

That's probably because you use the same pushrod. It multiplies the cam lobe lift on the other side of the fulcrum. I would probably get some hardened pushrods of stock length. They aren't that expensive, and you're increasing spring pressures.

I assume your check engine light is on too? You'll have to scan it to see what codes are thrown. Service stabil trak could be a whole bunch of things.
