There's another comment I get, which isn't really an insult, just annoying. Every time I wash my car, there's always someone that will walk or ride by on a bike and call out, "I'll bring mine by next!" On the one hand, it's nice to have friendly neighbors that feel comfortable joking with someone they don't really know. On the other hand, that joke is beyond played out. I just force a smile and say, "take a number!"

I got this from a website that lists the Camaro as the number 5 douche bag car:

Camaro SS: The companion douchebag to the trans-am, these ****y bastards have taken a notch above the trans-am because of the ego boost their SS badge gives them. SS, standing for Super Small, is a reference to their ***** size. Often the SS douchebag (lol sounds like a ship full of pussies) will try to show off for his inbred girlfriend by racing vehicles that aren't acknowledging a race, or participating in the douchebaggery of trans-am owners, as stated above. On top of burnouts, donuts, and being obnoxious, they firmly believe the SS badge of their Camaro gives them super powers over other Camaros, even V8s, inspite of a weight difference not over come by the marginal power difference.

I've been told "American cars suck". Obviously a very narrow-minded and almost overly-generalized comment to make. I think its to help them compensate for the fact that they don't have such a good-looking and powerful car in any form, from V6 to V8

Actually there is a lot of truth to this. A good majority of the people I have come across over the years that owned 5th gen Camaros were douchebags.

Back in the day (70s/80s) every guy who had a Trans-Am was a total douchebag.
