Today I took the family in the Camaro to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. Got lots of thumbs up today despite being in "enemy territory".

With the stripes, does that change how you would clean it(by hand)? I know it is really bad to use the same sponges on both the wheels and paint of the car, so since the stripes are made of a different material, would that also change how I washed it?

Washed and dried her, applied sealer and glaze then waxed her. I tried the Mother's line on her. Last time I used Meguires. I am leaning towards Mother's but I will give it a little time first. Right now I have that deep rich wet look and literaly no swirl marks very nice!

I have had many cars with stripes like these, if you don;t use any harsh detergents on them they will last for years with no problems... I always use detergents that are made for automotive finishes... but to get the pollen off clear water sprayed on them will do just fine...

Camaro

I plan on washing her later on when it warms up. Last time I handwashed her in the driveway I took her to work and she got rained on the very next day:( 4 more days of her being solid back and then the stripes go on

Where did you get those 312hp decals they are sweet. I just ordered a K&N 69 Series Typhoon AirCharger High Flow Air Intake which was just released http://www.knfilters.com/dynocharts/69-4520_dyno.pdf. Two days ago I received and installed my painted engine cover, looks awesome and makes a huge difference under the hood. Also, just had her detailed with the works, wash, clay bar, wax, engine cleaned...
