So what s/c produces the best torque I'm looking at Whipple and Maggie. besides the fact that the whipple is a twin screw and the Maggie a roots I have no idea how the two power bands differentiate.
I'd go with a twin screw over a roots any day. Although the roots blowers have stepped it up over the years. Some have been saying that there is no difference at certain power and boost levels. But twin screws can make a lot more boost or so I was led to believe. If you want the best low end torque, I'd have to say twin screw. But I'm a centri kinda guy.

The TVS Maggies are a far cry from a classic "roots" blower they I believe do a full twist or damn near it. They are a compromise between the two styles Roots vs. Screw. Their goal was to mix the advantages of the two. I would study hard to decide which way to go. I would definitely consider a turbo set up too. Just my 2 cents.

Congrats man!

If this is your first child everything is about to change. If this is an addition to the family it's just more of the same.

Thanks guys. The funny thing about it was that yesterday, I was getting my car all ready to head to the track and take a shot at that Record!! Had just gotten home from notching my control arm to clear my Welds. Then my wife out of nowhere went into labor. Lol
Track will be there next year! Feeling very blessed right now.

Even SuperchargedSS is going Centri! Think about all the money that had to be spent to get that blower to 9s. By the way Matt from FSP went 9s with a Centri on a stock bottom end.
Anyways bro I'd go with some twins if I could do it again
