As far as I know 11.64 at 121 is the fastest for a full on street car.

If someone has gone faster then they are not talkin about it. It took close to 700rwtq and a 1.6 60 foot to run that fast with a crappy da and no fear of scattering it all over the track. I have built plenty of cars that should be faster, but none have gone to bandimere.
I wouldn't worry much about a cage a bandi, I can't count how many times and or different cars I've run we'll below 11.49 with nobody saying anything. |

I think Larry on E85 hit 11.49ish when he was racing alot - about the same with Brian Tremblay on Nitrous and slipping the clutch. Both have been sold and both were sticks. I think my fastest at Bandi has been 11.8 with belt slip (pushed idler pully over) and AITs pulling timing. Then again, I hardly get out - but have a blast when I do. Fast is fun, but my goal is a dependable 11.5 build, no roll bar, no auto, no trailers and still be able to have fun on club activities, car shows, and cruises. And below 11.5 when I can get away with it
Anything new with the COPO? Should be a fun watching the progression

Yes Larry did run 11.4. Ahmetoo ran 11.7@118 with a 1.83 60ft on a stock clutch/susp/stock everything except for headers, cam, TVS2300@8psi, nitto NT05r tires. This was his 2nd time out with that setup. he only did a total of ~7 runs ever since he put a supercharger on it which I thought was really good!!! a lot of camaros in the area "should" run faster than 11.5 though.

Yeah I agree, fast street cars are a great balance. I know mine will be a trailer queen, especially when the TH400 gets dropped in for CF4. So if you guys want to listen to mine on straight pipes turning 3k on cruises, lemme know

I was sure someone was in the 10's... Then again, there is always that guy out there that never says a word but lays down unreal times and goes home quite and happy. If anything, makes me happy with where my TBSS is and I have yet to spray it...

Larry was caged with the RPM - Brian, Derek I believe, and I helped him squeeeeeeze it in. Larry sold the car to put his son through D.U. though, plus he realized more $$$ to handle the power was needed.
