March 14 of last year I traded in my
1997 Cougar......last of the big ones!
52,000 miles.....still in beautiful shape body-wise, but some $$ mechanical issues

2011 dodge avenger bought brand new 1,000 miles it was at 138,000 when i gave it to the dealer (transmission dropped)

I luckily didn't trade in anything. I was pre approved from Capital One with zero down. Easiest purchase I ever made.

I never thought I'd part with her, but when a drunk driver gets behind the wheel it is never a good thing. I'm just glad I still have my wife. BTW, the car is facing the opposite direction it was traveling when it got hit.

You’re supposed to trade in cars? I thought you were supposed to keep adding to the collection of cars. I guess i had this all wrong.

I’m glad everyone was ok. We’ve got a real problem with drunk driving around here so I can really sympathize. Was it a GXP?

As for me I was pre-approved no money down. I put some cash down but didn’t trade anything.

while i didnt trade anything in, i did sell my 1972 Monte Carlo numbers matching 402 BB for a down payment. I miss the "thought' of that car, but cant beat the reliability of the Camaro.

Not a GXP only a GT, but a whole lot of fun! 6.0L V8 and rear wheel drive in a 4 door sedan in the late '00's. It had the rare red inserts in the seats and was awesome. One day I'll get a GXP 6 speed G8 to add to the garage. Until then I'll just fondly remember this beauty.
