I refuse- tried it once. It isn't all it's cracked up to be. Besides, I'm not done complaining yet.

A) I still have lots of friends here with cars stuck in Area51.
B) Now, I can't have my car (yet) because Chevy hasn't bothered to send the invoice to my dealer.

So, until A&B are no longer an issue, here I am...

My 2LT was built 7 days ago. It sits at 3800-produced. That's it. No other information. It is just a 2LT, auto, RS, no factory stripes. Nothing special. No reason that I am aware of why it has not moved to 4150 or 4200. So I've got a VIN 2G1FC1EV7A9108529 but it hasn't been invoiced so no window sticker to look at; no update to the VIN list; no shipping information. I don't even know if it is lost in Area 51 because it is not bayed either.

I have seen the workbench event history report and it stops at 3800. I have called the dealer and he has called the DBC and nobody knows.

Is it just that they are trying to ship only 2SS's or is it that they can't get enough trucks to move the cars; a combination of both? What happens to cars that are made if GM goes bankrupt? Will the cars get shipped?

Please, any dealers or GM folks on the forum, give us some information. I can wait a little more patiently (or at least try to) if I knew what was going on. And yes, I have heard that some cars have showed up at dealers when the workbench said they were 3800. I am hoping that happens to me but I would still like to know.

Just double checking... Are you sure you saw the FULL vehicle event history which shows all the levels of movement? I only ask because my WORKBENCH showed 3800 for a couple weeks while the full event history showed 4B00- bayed.

Absolutely sure. I had them print it out and it is two pages with a lot of room left on page 2 for more events. It stops at 3800.

Here is my issue....
I ordered my new 2010 Camaro in 2006 (yes 7-3-2006) that is the date I went to the dealer and gave them money for a car I did not even know if they would ever build. BUT I had faith and a lot of time.
I then got the call on 10/28/09 - I went in a built my 2010 custom 2 SS Camaro - Orange with black stripes, black leather interior - I added the RS package. I added on the Sunroof - I put my heart into this car to make it me.

then I got the next phone call I was waiting for - it's done !! 4/16/09 @ 4:59 pm the car was officialy finished...
I ask you why now over 1 month later - I see them drive by but not me, mine is still in Canada. It is finished, it is paid for - but I do not have it. I call everyday and I get the same, lame excuse. It is in safety testing.
Come on GM - This is crazy - for those of us who believed in you and gave you pre-orders on cars we have never even driven. You should at least be giving us our cars first... Bad business !!

Please take the time to search through the forums and read the threads. The answer is out there. If people still choose to ignore it, there's nothing we can do about it.

So you think that it takes 30 days to fix a battery terminal, And to change a bumper cover, So to do a tune up is 2 weeks? Hes VIN is 3360+ so not the first 2500.

Count me in, I ordered in March, and I am frustrated. I feel for those who ordered in October of last year and still dont have their cars. Good luck and you have my vote in Camaro 5
