The Camaro has a slight advantage if you look at HP / Weight ratio ... What gearing did the GTO have?
What did a stock GTO run btw? I know the Camaro HP / Weight ratio should be close to the 03/04 cobras .. they would run high 12's at about 110 - 113 mph ...

I thought the GTO had a 6.0 and the camaro has a 5.7

They look like two completely different beasts, too. I personally LOVE the looks of GTOs, and if deciding which one looks better, I would not be able to pick.

cant really tell you were you were.

the other thing is thought thew ls3 will have more useable torque from the bottom of the rpm range.
