You have the right shop however you want, but to call anyone who feels their buying decision is emotionally inspired as "sappy" says you don't care about the feelings of others. You sure you want that reputation? Some of us will remember you - if you ever show up - at a C5Fest etc!! Maybe you will try to make amends then?

Oh, as Reagan said "There you go again.." But in all seriousness, "we won't make fun of your youth and inexperience"......

Please don't take what I said out of context, feeling "sappy" is my description of emotions. I was talking about myself not getting all emotional over a purchase. Not getting "sappy" is just me, never have and never will. It doesn't make either of us wrong, just different in personalities.

It's all good !!!

Besides if we were all the same, life would be boring.

I'm with you a car is a car, some are better some are worse. I liked the 2010 Camaro from the first time I saw / heard about it, and bought it for that reason alone, I didn't care about all the specs., et al. After making the purchase, I didn't like a lot of things after I had it for a while and after being disappointed I decided to change it, that's when the learning curve started with the reasearch and getting on boards like Camaro5. With that said, I don't have emotional attachments to material objects. In any case, everyone has different expectations of what they think they'll get from material purchases. I guess in some cases it's emotional attachment, in other cases (like mine) it is performance and recreation.

Hype? The ZL1 is not hype... If you're buying it, you are getting everything that has been advertised. No Hype. Its amazing... Got to ride in one the other day with a GM engineer (Friend of mine). Sorry was not permitted to take any pictures... I wish I had the coin to buy one...

I'm....probably getting buried in it.

I was aiming for an SS with some goodies....and then they announced this. I had to wait for it.
