I only ask because I took out the battery to charge it over the winter and the first 2 fill ups were with 87 and the rest were with 94 and never did the fuse pull before ... So Just wondering if a fuse pull is still necessary.

I put 93 (or 91 when in OK) at all times in my SS. I tried to save some money by running 89 once and the difference was very noticeable (at least to me). It was sluggish and felt like it had no power. I can imagine putting 87 in it would be much much worse. So from then on, I've only put premium in.

If you want the horsepower and engine life, better stick with min 89 octane. I never go less then 91

Not to sound dumb, but my v6 manual suggests lower grade fuel. I've always used 91 in my cars and was more than a little confused by this. Should I be using what it recommends or 91?

Highly recommended. I wouldn't ever put 87 in. I'd be disrespecting my poor camaro....
