I like cheeseburgers and beer too, and I live on Route 66, but I also have Glendora Mountain Road in my backyard and keeping myself in place using the dead pedal is destroying my knee. I need something to keep my 5-8, 140 lb frame more firmly in place.

Eat more cheesburgers
JK Thanks for the review

Great review! I actually find that bit about the seats encouraging since I'm a big guy (6'3" and 310 pounds). Now even if I lost about 80 of those pounds like I'm planning to, I'll still be pretty big and one of the things I HATE are too narrow sports seats. Sounds like this will be pretty good for me then

Oh and totally agree with you that if I have the chance I'll have to drive both a V& and a V8. Because while I REALLY want a 2SS, if I feel a 2LT gets the job done I'm going with that.

Thanks, i know about that gap. My pictures were more illustrating that the tolerance for the angle of the gap was a bit more than i'd expect. In one case it was finger-tip tight, the right side i could slip my finger in almost to the first digit. I would expect near perfect symmetry to be honest.

I had to go looking for the difference though. Wasn't too big a deal as I said.

Somebody pushed the strap back in, that's it.

Orange peel seems to be an epidemic thing.. every camaro I've seen in dealerships had it. and I mean EVERY one. The only ones I haven't seen with it are the CTF and show cars of all things.. <_<

I very much liked this overview...Particularly the cobalt references as I drive one myself. It sounds as though the issues you noticed were build qaulity issues, like you said -- but I find it incredibly hard to believe that this is going to be the norm. The Impalas and Silverados that come from Oshawa give them an oustanding quality rep. I'd be inclined to say this particular car was either rushed for some reason...or was a lemon.

I agree. I want to be very clear that I don't expect these issues to be present on every car. Any mass car manufacturer, even the "perfect" Honda and Toyota, will occasionally spit out a model that seems to have been made at about 3:30 on a Friday afternoon, while the QA guy took a coffee break, if you know what I mean. And the vast majority of these issues are things that could easily be fixed in PDI. So the big lesson I want everyone to take away here is that when you take delivery of your Camaro, you will no doubt be insanely excited, but calm down and inspect it carefully for any flaws and have the dealer or manufacturer take care of it until it is acceptable.
