Picked up a GoPro 3 Black Edition tonight but I will not have my clear bra installed in time. I guess painters tape will be my best friend come Saturday.

Anyone have a clue to which kind of painters tape to use for paint protection?

That's what I'll be doing my Car will damn near look blue instead of white by the time I'm done with all the painters tape I'll be putting on the front and behind the rear wheels. There is no real special tape for this the blue painters tape works great and you can double up in areas that you think will get a lot of rocks

Go get the 3M clear paint spray bra stuff. It's pretty neat. I rushed it and got some runs but not real worried about that for track days. Got mine at autozone. 1 can easily did the whole front bumper. $25 a can. Not the cheapest but cheaper than repaint.

I just placed a order for some racer's tape, I will be bringing for anyone to use
colors
white
orange
burgundy
black
BTW there are less rock debris on a track, verses driving down a highway

I just realized Seat Time requires a Snell 95 helmet. Both my 3/4 and full face Shoei helmets at just DOT approved. Where can I get a good Snell 95 helmet quickly ??

My mistake, both my Shoei helmets are DOT and Snell approved. It's a good thing considering what I paid for them.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there, got confirmed for my number too so was happy about that. I would say since I've been to Roebling a few times for AutoX you want to be there no later than 8. I plan to get there between 7:30-8. Don't forget to bring the usual things, sunscreen, bug spray (the gnats have been starting to come out), sunglasses, don't forget your long sleeve shirt and pants. Have plenty of water. I know they have a pavilion where they sell food but I don't know if it will be open for this event or not.
