Wow sooo many things wrong with your argument...

Just to name a few..

The corvette is in a completely different price class..
The corvette is in a completely different Federal regulation class..
The corvette is engineered COMPLETELY differently..
The camaro while all brand new, is built off of an existing chassis that may/may not allow certain things..
The corvette rear tailpipes/exhaust/muffler setup is completely different from the camaros...

Must I go on?

That generally means one of these things:
- There's nothing more to add, you covered the topic quite well
- You're too late and what you said has already been said
- You haven't actually said anything

In the above post, I'd say you covered it well.
Thanks for the feedback.

I really like the first-gen idea, but there's no way I can argue that the newer afterburner style is way-much cooler. It's one of the primary design elements of he concept, and should be carried over to the prod.

Maybe the aftermarket can provide a first-gen inspired alternative for those who might want to really customize this the car.

Hey! I NEED some new spy-pics!!! I hope Operation Shunt can secure some good intel somewhere along the way on the Shunt Hunt.

I agree with your other point.
ok if there are or were back up lights on the car i dont think anyone would have ever known had they not seen it in reverse. i personally never saw it in reverse so i would not know. i saw it on a rotating display and the lights were not on. so if the lights are on the bottom of the bumper in the concept, why are they not there in the prototype?

sigh.. take 10 minutes and read through this entire post. It will answer your question. For more details do a search on "reverse lights" or "backup lights".

Cliff notes for reverse lights: "For production purposes it was unfeasible."

Absolutely Yes!!! Looks way better than the current mock up of the rear panel, although if you flipped the lens to match the contour of the rear panel and maybe added a "finned filler panel" between the tail lights. Also i would make the tail lamps one piece like the original RS tail lamp...it'd be perfect!

Visibility regulations have more to do with required brightness levels than height requirements.

Heh - While I did consider swapping the tail lights on my third gen for a 1st gen assembly, I actually think the tail lights on this car are one of the best parts. Very mean looking.

Tail Lights

I don't think the tail lights is the issue. Having a nice spoiler and wrap around quarters with special painting and then good looking lower bumper is the key. Look above at that orange Camaros rear end, thats more like it. Even a wing of some sort may be appealing.

i love the taillights on the concept/production car. nothing needs to be changed IMO.

i like how they look like the 'vette's but chopped flat at the top... for me it insinuates the rebel little brother look. "i'm like my big brother, but I have my own presence"
