It's currently sold out but that stuff works amazingly well. I'm in Texas and even during football season (10-12 hours on a bicycle) I can run a carrier for 2+ weeks.

Hmm I'll have to pick up some of that. Carriers are all spring time fresh now but the panels could be classified as biohazards.

What panels do you have? I use just shy of boiling water and just rub them down a couple times each and the let them sit out and air dry. We have point blank stuff

Second Chance. I've been letting them air out and they're not as bad as they were last night. I'll wipe them down before this weekend.

I normally don't bother anymore..... I sweat soo much that I'd have to take the vest apart and wipe them down after every shift. I hit it with Febreeze every shift and hope for the best. I'll take a look at the stuff you posted about and see if that does any better.
That test they did in Baltimore a few years ago kinda freaked me out. If you didn't hear about it....they took vests and test shot them...the finding was that they had numerous penetrations/failures caused by a break down in the material due to constant moisture...ie, sweat etc... obviously didn't make me very warm and fuzzy inside.

Try putting a dryer sheet in with each panel. That should help keep them a little fresher. I use them to keep the car fresh - one under each seat. Change as needed.
