but i'm curious to see what the real version looks like ...i wouldn't get it since i have a different idea of what the exterior on the camaro should look like but out of all the exterior modification bodykits that have come out i think this one looks the best but these are drawings...but most of the other bodykits make the car look bulky and take away from the beauty of the car...this doesn't diminish the beauty of the car like other modifications have done
I didn't like the aesthetics of the SMS car before I read the back story.

When I first saw the thread I thought that it was cool that he was entering the Camaro supercar business.
After watching the video, there is no way I would consider putting money his way towards a Camaro.
He should stick with Mustangs.
Camaro fans should stick with the Hennessy/Lingenfelter/SLP/Yenko/Nickey guys!!!

Did you read the story? The people that bought out Saleen are not honoring the warranty, not Steve Saleen himself.
Read this:
"The ones who have been left out in the cold are the loyal customers of Saleen products," said Saleen. "While my new company, SMS Supercars, has no legal or moral obligation to take up any of the warranty claims against Saleen, Inc. or MJ Acquisitions, Inc., I would like to make a bold statement on the right way to treat customers.

"If any Saleen customer in the United States who purchased a Saleen, Inc. product up until February 2, 2009, has a warranty claim, they can directly contact my new company, SMS Supercars. We will honor their remaining warranties as if they were SMS Supercars warranties."

It's not bad, but not as aggressive looking as the Mustangs, which in of itself can be a good thing some dont like too flashy.
That being said.

Who in their right mind would get Camaro modified by such a joke as Saleen. I'll leave them to the Mustang owners. If you want to get your Camaro modified, bring it to someone whos not full of sh*t.

Steve Saleen is an icon in the racing industry. I would gleen from this that he saw an awesome car and wanted to play with it.

Why fault the guy for that?

715 hp?? Well Im excited about it.
I fault him for talking out of his arse and saying stupid crap just to get a cheer at a mustang rally... FU Steve Saleen.

His final comment, "Only in a movie would anyone imagine the Camaro to be a Saleen" So if he does decide to do something he is a hypocrit!
And just an idiot about GM not being able to make their own pony car...
