Supercharger recall
Hey, has anyone else received a letter from there dealership about a recall for the supercharger? I got one today saying that if the supercharger on the 6.2's starts sqealing or making noise, that it has to be taken in right away and if left alone the supercharger bearings could go out and seize up the supercharger. The letter also said that if your motors not making any noise or sqealing, that we need to keep a listen. They have given extra warranty 10 yrs. or 190,000 km's. But this only covers repairs to the supercharger and engine. Just wondering?

That doesn't sound good. I'm still waiting on delivery of my 2014 zl1. There was a stop delivery on another car I was trying to deal on. I wonder if that has something to do with it?

Nope. All 2014's were stopped delivery because of the key recall that was issued by GM. Your blade style key can not be used anymore. You get a seperate key and fob now, and GM stopped all deliveries of 2014's until they get the seperate key and fob.

Well it's coming on a truck right from Oshawa so I hope it's been addressed by the factory and I don't have to wait for them to hack me up a key at the dealership.
