I compare the plush blue to the plus white on page two of this thread.

By the way, I am quite impressed on how well the Adams waffle weave drying towel is. That towel can be totally saturated and still pick up water from the car. |

People think that I am joking when I say that I use those towels to check my oil. I literally do. I would not use them on ANY painted surface, clear coated surface or chrome. The barrels of your wheels if not painted or clear coated or chrome are fine, it totally depends on where you can deal with having scratches.
Remember this, look at how your paint ended up from using those towels. It didn't happen over night, it happened over time. That's what those towels will do for you. They are that destructive. The great bargain you get is not worth destroying the pristine look of your car. There are people here who will thank me 20 years from now when they are sitting at a car show and having people constantly asking if their car was recently painted. I am NOT saying that Adam's is the only place to get these towels and that is the only place you should buy them SoCalGuy has the same waffle weave drying towel that Adam's has. If his price is cheaper, you'd be crazy not to buy them from him. Other places sell the blue towels that Adam's just stopped carrying if those are the ones you like (just make sure that they are made in Korea). Zaino's Borderless Blond towels are excellent. Adam's new white towels are the most plush of the bunch. None of these towels are cheap but you have to ask yourself, how much pride do I have in my car? For those of you who may sell your ride one day, the investment of proper care will return itself on selling day. If you ask me, it's really a no brainer. So other than the surfaces that I mentioned earlier, you can use those towels all you want. For me, they make excellent grease towels.
