Indy 500 is something you buy and don't drive until 50+ years from now, imagine what one would go for with less than 100 miles on it?...

200 to selected US dealers 50 used as Festival cars at Indy and later sold as used cars 45 to Canada, exact number yet unknown how many are 6-spd manuals, estimated to be around 25% so far. Last edited by MLL67RSSS; 09-27-2010 at 07:52 AM. |

The silver cars are 2009 Indy Pace Cars and the OP was talking about the 2010 Indy Pace car that was Inferno Orange with White Diamond Stripes. Last edited by autoguy; 09-27-2010 at 11:53 AM. |

Thanks for the clarification. By listing the "exact number yet unknown how many are 6-spds,,," in the same line as the "45 to Canada" my intent was imply only Canadian market replicas had the manual available.

If you can afford to buy it, then put it in storage for 20 years, go for it. The collectible value will be up there if you keep it pristine. Drive the heck out of it and your collectible value will go down immensely.
If you're getting a car to drive, go buy a different one off the dealers lot and like said above, put your extra 10k into mods. |

Don't buy it, you dont sound like a Camaro enthusiast so save it for someone who would appreciate it a little more.
Loving the GT500, thats my next toy, that or the Raptor (hopefully) |

I was seriously considering getting the pace car when a dealership here in Langley BC had one. But I decided not because I wanted an IOM with no stripes. PLus I grinded them down to $43k on a fully loaded 2SS.

1) It'll take at least 10 years before it's worth what you paid for it; as far as an investment.
2) It's a decal stripe and no special powertrain changes 3) It's not a convertible pace car |
