Yeah...when I was a level 2, I had level 5 and 6 people trying to take advantage of my low level status. Which is exactly why I'm going to wait until I'm a level above them to accept the challenge. I'm going to rip them to shreds.....

It won't make any difference if you wait to accept the challenges.

I had some challenge me that were higher. I've gone up, but so have they.

But when they challenge and it's sent, it's sent at a level 2 or level 3 bot....which has a level 2's or level 3's upgrades. How can the challenge be "upgraded" to a level 4 bot in time? I imagine the name and rank in the challenge might go up. But, the power level of the bot when challenged should stay the same....in theory. Guess I could be wrong.

I don't know, but I lost to two level 3's when I accepted the challenges at level 4. I waited to hit level 4 to acept the challenege since they came yesterday. Lost to an avalanche and a cobalt. Also I still can't figure out a good strategy against someone who's using an impala as an aveo. I'm down to like 522 rank from winning a few battles. I don't really wanna accept challenges now from level 4's because I can feel myself being the weaker bot. I've had matches where we've all missed EVERYTIME and lost.

I was level 7 and lost to a level 1. he did self defense on everything, and deflected my damage back against myself. ticked me off royally, the worst part is that I know the guy personally

If someone offered to meet you in a boxing ring tomorrow, but you didn't answer them but instead waited 6 months to take them up on the offer so as to be at the level of skill they were when they issued the challenge, that person has also had that 6 months to continue improving...

When you finally accept it, they're even more skilled than before.

Same concept with the Challenges on the site. A 'Level 2' Aveo isn't challenging you. That particular character is challenging you, and they aren't sitting still while you wait.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with not accepting those challenges from the higher levels though. I don't accept them either. I just keep them so when we are actually the same level I will accept.

My Sideswipe Aveo is currently a Level 5. But I rarely challenge (or accept challenges from) other Level 5 characters. The Aveo seems to be best when fighting a level or two below it's current level. Though I have had lower levels defeat me.

The Impala is actually the vehicle/bot I have the most luck defeating. I try to seek out Impala's when I can. I don't even bother with Avalanches or Silverado's. And the damn Cobalt is a PITA to beat too.

Also here's a few questions for you guys.

1. Is there a specific way to deflect damage? I put points into the deflection shield, but it's just an attack. I've deflected damage randomly and it's happened more with zero points into deflection shield.

2. What's your strategy for the impala EllwynX? Normally, they have the katana attack, pulsegun (range) and they hurt with their kicks and punches as well. What do you normally do?

3. What's the roadThunder attack and some other vehicle specific attacks do? I can't tell if they're ranged/melee or if they even hit because everytime I use it on a second e-mail account there is no text saying I missed or blocked or anything.

You heard it right. That's what was said. But, it's been taken off of the site now. I don't know if that's still good or what...

I understand what you are saying. But, I figured since the challenge is sent and the moves are locked in as well as the well placed upgrade points to better improve yourself, that this is how you will present yourself in the battle. Basically, the challenge is locked in. I challenge you while I'm a level 2 and decided I needed upgrade points in two spots. I send the challenge. You get it, but wait until you are a level 5. I think the challenge I sent would remain at a level 2 since that was the person you were at the time you sent the challenge.

Okay, maybe a stupid question, but I'm not seeing it on the site anywhere....how do I fight a drone? My drone kills are still at zero, but I don't see anywhere to fight a drone.
