My gas mileage is in a stack of receipts spanning 12 days of fill-ups. I was too tired to enter the info from the trip last night. I will go through all of them tonight and post the info in my journal thread (link in sig).

I do know that my gas mileage was better than I expected, given the speeds I was travelling at . For the part of the drive from Albuquerque, NM down Hwy 285 to Carlsbad, NM, I averaged 31.9mpg with cruise set @ 75mph. Granted it was flat (high plains) and there was a slight cross/tail wind. Normally at 75mph, I'm down around 25mpg.

Around town before C5Fest, I was usually up about 1mpg over my daily driving routes [mixed city/freeway/traffic]. I've been tracking MPGs since day one and my driving habits are fairly consistent.

Bummer. Thought I mentioned I was going. My Camaro was sitting next to the yellow SS at the Maryland Speed booth for both days.

No problems at all, from sea level to 7000+ feet, mountain passes to high plains, 86 octane no-name gas to tier-1 93 octane, loaded down with 4 people plus luggage. Couldn't have been happier with this intake's performance. Thanks Vararam!
Just wanted to say glad you had a great trip and good meeting you at the Fest. Glad the Vararam is doing it's thing. your 25 mpg at that speed looks good. My average to the fest and back, 868 miles was 23.2 and about 56 mph average with the Injen and the other stuff.Of course speeds going up and down from 60-120 on the road not the best way to get mpg! But fun!!

Just curious...

If I remember correctly the VR sales said that they was going to start shipping last week of this month but they changed it to 1st week of may right?

So... today(4/25/11)is the start of last week of may.

We should expect for the VR sales to start PM'ing the peoples on the list??

Yhea.. I was going to do a dyno before all my mods but the timing did not allow me to have it done, plus at the last minute I found out that the dyno was a dynapack I was not about to take off my 4 wheels to have it done plus I heard some strange numbers with them.
Everybody I know ended up having their dyno redone on either a mustang or dynojet.

I found a local guy in my area that's going to give me a 4 hr dyno session for 50 bucks on a dynojet. I know that I wont know how much I gained but knowing where I am at after all my mods is better than not knowing anything at all I guess?
I will also try to compare with other manual cars since there are alot of dynojet numbers on the forum if im not mistaking.

I'm thinking 4 pulls for $50 buck... which is still a good deal... most dyno days are like 2 pulls for $50... by the hour it's usually $100+ an hour...

Is there another list starting? Or can I add myself to last place somehow? Want to hop onboard.

Where can you order this intake from or when will it be on the Vararam website to be ordered?
