As Solomon said, they don't affect the HP numbers to the wheels. They affect they HP to the ground. On a dyno, you have the best suspension mod of all, wench straps.

It will be loud. What else do you want to know? There should be SEVERAL vids in the exhaust compilation sticky.

Get LTs while you're at it.

Will it be obnoxiously louder than muffler delete?

I'd honestly wait then. It will sound like shit with AFM and there's no point of getting a tune and then getting another tune when you get LTs.

A resonator is made to quiet the exhaust somewhat. Deleting it will make the exhaust tone louder. I can't really put a number on how much louder but it's a little louder. Being obnoxious is purely on the end user. Personally, I think the muffler delete is obnoxious but others think it's pure music.

Check out TSP headers. Run about $500, and are quality headers as well.

The Stainless Power ones are in the same category as the TSP headers. Low cost, good quality high value.

I was surprised how much the Pfadts woke up my exhaust note. I had to act all old and put in a. Resonated X pipe in place of the factory H pipe. I do have an LS3 with the NPP exhaust.
