So it would appear that the 2013 GT500 will start at $54,995 (sound familar?)....but in order for it to have a chance versus the ZL1...you need to equip the $3500 SVT performance package. Frankly - I think it's a flat-out dangerous car without the performance goodies added on....

And there's no word yet, that I've seen...of how much more the coolers, etc will cost you. hmmm.....

Anyways - how are things going' House of Z buddies?

It's an admirable move by Ford, however it's not "nearly" as polished a package that the ZL1 is.

Agreed. I see now why they are so package-happy...with the SVT performance thing...and however much more the coolers are...a comparable GT500 is several thousand dollars more expensive than a ZL1, even with the GG tax...

I think the Camaro is an auto.

Notice how they never specify...and then in the sidebar, they quote the Chevy's "425 hp". which leads me to believe they don't realize (maybe?) that the auto and manual feature different engines?

Just a guess...
