I hear ya. I'm not trying to be negative nancy however the 1LE showed up with 6/4 brakes. Why did they change that?

It could be they moved to a more aggressive pad to achieve the numbers...and since the car weighs less and has less power to reign in than a ZL1, it didn't need them? So...save the weight (and cost!!) of big, heavy calipers?

Just a pure, speculative guess.

If they really are targeting the Boss...it'll at the VERY least, match its performance. Of that I have the utmost faith.

Also, where do yall see where it says it's competing with boss LS?

I think times will improve a little...but it would appear that the 1LE focuses on serious track-skills rather than straight line speed.
