But the exhaust system is worth perhaps 20hp. Why not? I think anyone of the twin turbo kits out there could do this. Twins are a wonderful thing. |

Sic yes... pass everything on the road including the occsaional MD80 traveling the same direction... except for a gas station... This car would know no strangers in the form of a gas station... Heck, I may as well fab up some 16 series Parker 593 for fuel line....
I can't even begin to think what the HP numbers woiuld be at 20 lbs... Quote:

Perhaps but remember the great thing about the Twin turbo design is that it takes no power to drive it and it creates little to no heat at cruise - therefore if you are cruising down the road you are not in boost and only require the fuel of your modded N/A motor This engine as an example - http://www.gmsvideos.com/video/6197 made over 1000hp yet in the car cruised at 23mpg. No BS I drove it from Los Angeles to Phoenix, around town for a week and then back for a total of 986 miles round trip and averaged 19.9 - that included aggressive driving around town in phoenix. This TBSS motor http://www.gmsvideos.com/video/1946 with a Magnuson was the same c.i. long block and parts yet it made 725hp. It makes 17 if I baby it and averages more like 14.5 on average Turbos are cool – way cool |
