Last week in a SS 6 speed, I hit the 155 mph limiter at the very top of 4th gear, on the display screen it comes up and says speed limited to 155 mph, BOOOO!

It took more than a mile as well, the 09 CTS-V 556 hp car did a little over 160 in a standing mile if memory serves me, i'd have to go look at the data again.

And the darn stability control, even in competition mode keeps you from sliding the car around much, no donuts for sure.

All of these cars I have tested in the past couple of weeks with the same result, no sliding the car sideways without stability control taking over and stopping the fun, even when disabled

it still wont allow full control, need an OFF switch for everything lol

Press an hold theTC button fo 7 sec to turn everthing off.

I will try 1/4 while in 3rd. I've hit 103 there but that is too close to redline. I could hold it for just a little longer. I've been up to 142 and still working on my shift points. I need a lot of work as I'm new and have only driven LS3 M6 for two weeks. I have a safe place to run and my bro is a police escort.



Any pointers for a newbie?

Practice using launch control. The launch is usually what wins races.

There arent many roads in the US safe enough to really hot 160-180 constantly.. not a quick brush yea.. but .. I wouldnt expect or think its a good idea banging 160-180 mph

Those 3 other people let you take them that fast?
Hit 155 on long road in Wyoming. 5th gear 4500 rpm's. Lots more pedal left. I hink 180 would be no problem.

dont know.. don't think its aerodynamic enough to hit 180 with this little HP
