Top speed electronically limited?

I saw somewhere that the Camaro's speed will be electrically limited. Can any one confirm this? If so is there a way to make it not so?

Most cars are these days, but yeah you can program it out. As long as it's not low enough for me to find out where it is I could give a hoot.

The V6 is limited to 155mph when equipt with the RS pacakge. Without the RS package it is limited lower, because of the tires.

Do you know of an abandoned airport with a runway that's still in good shape or something? Where are you going to get it going that fast?
