That's it. Absolutely worthless posts - whether you choose to see it or not, you bring nothing to the table on the subject. So people who actually want some factual information on the topic have to sift through panic attack after panic attack. And the only recent worthwhile post on the subject has come from Scott saying "Please stop speculating." They're working on it, and maybe they don't know what exactly is going to happen yet because.. *gasp* THEY'RE NOT COMPLETELY DONE WITH IT YET. That's why we SHOULDN'T be privileged to every little detail of the development process - because people take the most insigificant information and twist it into worthless apocalyptic drivel.

Stoutfiles...even know your having to repeat your self time after time to
members(because they keep coming at you with the same arguement) your doing a GREAT job with it ever post you through out makes great since. so thanks for helping keep this thread alive. and fellas I dont mean to fuel the fire(really I dont) but some keep saying we sound like spoiled babies...Why, cause we value our money more? cause we wont what was advertised? and no, nobodys actually bought the car yet but most of us did put a deposit down (me $1000.00) to buy it, and its almost crunch time, so thats why we need answers now and not after production. is that really asking for too much.Fbod told us if it aint rite we will delay or cancil it, I have alot of respect for the guy but this is not acceptable this late in the game. Love all of ya though

I feel like finally chiming in. All I can say is I REALLY want and care about ABL. If it is delayed "knock on wood" I would rather them keep my MSRP and install it for free when it is working correctly.
P.S. Stout, I think you are my hero. Last edited by 5thGenAnyone?; 02-08-2009 at 03:54 AM. |

Well, it's looking very bad for ABL right now.

It looks pretty obvious where ABL is going right now. It's kind of hard to "keep the faith" when everything GM keeps silent about the Camaro turns out to be negative...they haven't been keeping quiet about positive things. Last edited by StoutFiles; 02-10-2009 at 12:14 AM. |

I will have to chime in for this sole reason, this close to production the number of unanswered questions is disconcerting at best!! I can see and sympathize with all the upset masses!! Honestly feels a little like the train is coming off the track after 3 years of planning this car stuff still isn't working or available or not right. Seems ridiculous to me and many others

Stouct, i love you man, but to be honest, i think their plan B is just to have it on the doors. We know that it passes the heat cycle, just not the most important part, the dash, hopefully they get that worked out because they cant use the excuse of the ABL being distracting because it is offered in the CTS and it stays on, we just have a light pipe that glows with it. So with that said, i think its safe to say that we should be getting ABL on our doors.
Then again it might just be delayed like your valid point states up top, Stout, you should be a detective. I love how you cypher these lines but right now i hate you for it because i have to agree that it does look bad for ABL. I know i am contradicting what i just said but dam i was trying to look at the Glass as half full. |

well I am trying not to be negative but it seems that this whole launch is so unorganized and idiotic! Ya know people have told us how surprised of the misinformation they are, and believe me there is some horrible misinfo but if GM stepped to the plate and didnt play all secret agent with what the heck is going on then maybe people wouldn't be turning sour. Leaving for challys, vettes, G8's 370z's etc etc

I'm not saying that ABL isn't in trouble. But I really think you are reaching for bad news on this one. Sure we have no idea when there will be another Z28. But we don know that ABL will eventually be in the car. And by the same token we know CGM will be on the cars once they can put it in the factory spray machines. So to only infer disaster because of the fact that Scott just can't answer these question doesn't mean they are delayed or in trouble for very different reasons. Not to say that you don't have reason to be concerned about ABL. But, I just don't see the connection you are trying to make. Hopefully you will hear something soon.
