If I'm out with my truck everyone does the same crap, you get sick of it thats for sure. Its depressing that you try to relax after a week of busting your hump at work and want to enjoy a nice ride to relax. But the idiots are out their 10 fold nowaday's so, just have to drive smart. I know how you feel though I had all the hot chevy's back in the day was always challenged and I'M not gonna say I didn't oblidge a few but, today with the fines and insurance it's not worth it.

He prolly took off because it was stolen or no licence and reg. Those low lifes will always be around, if it gets to bad dial 911 and give them the plate they'll be waiting for him at home.

Hasn't been my experience. Just yesterday I drove 5 miles and was "challenged" in one way or another 3 times. I can't tell yet if it's because it's an RS or because they don't know what RS implies.

If you had your windows up and looked straight ahead..
1) you wouldn't have noticed the jackasses next to you
2) you would annoy the jackasses next to you

I don't know why half of you gawk at the drivers next to you anyway. I purposely ignore them. I think looking over to the guy next to you is sizing them up, which isn't the most polite thing to do.

Me too. I never ever get challenged. Not like the old days when I used to drive a '69 Cougar. I guess everyone's grown up in the last 32 years.

I can't believe he hasn't been banned. He trolls V6 threads and talks smack about the six, which he has admitted to having never driven. Then he mocks the owners of V6's. I keep hoping one day he figures out that the baddest muscle car in the world isn't going to compensate for what God didn't give him, and that he finds somewhere else to troll... But it doesn't seem to be happening.

Until then it's free entertainment I say

street racing is about as silly as those guys at the muscle beech. they really think they are hot dudes. they dont even know that people come to look like they are at a circus side show of freaks. if you even consider street racing, you are a dummy. ive been to a few and each guy usually leaves thinking they won. half the time there is a fight. who jumped? wheres the finish line?
if you are even driving spirited beside another car and a cop decides that your racing, you will have a DUI like driving record and insurance rate if and when you get them both back.
i love driving fast as much as any person here but street racing doesnt give me anything rewarding. its down to whos willing to be the stupidest. i usually just laugh if someone guns their motor at me. if they approach me in person i tell them to come to the next track day and ill hurt their wittle feawings.
the fact that they are trying to get me to street race shows me that they know nothing about real high performance driving.

I dont know about you guys but down here in miami it feels as if every kid with a manual car or a "sporty" car are out to prove that they can hang with or play with cars much faster than their own. I want to say it is a very common that i get a good race but unfortunately i cant. What i do love is the common civic/integra/rsx with minor mods lining up with me or riding my ass on the highway looking to do battle and not realizing that there is no replacement for displacement. I know that the k20 is capable of making huge amounts of power despite its small displacement but it cost money to get there and turbo cars can achieve alot of power as well but alot of time at the sacrifice of daily drivabilty. Thats why i dont even even try anymore. I am the only person within my friends with a v8 but i can honestly i have the slowest car, however they have easily invested 5k+ into their cars and have stripped them down to their lightest weight possible, but mind you i am bone stock and i never lose by much and i always catch up on the top end.
