Im on a phone so quoting anyone is pretty difficult. Someone mentioned they sold a BMW because they didn't know it it would start.. I feel the SAME way. It took about a month just to get this supercharger working correctly there were so many issues with it. It's finally running well, but that was an expensive and painful experience.
See guys, if I didnt own a Camaro yet, I'd buy the GTR no contest, but it's like the Camaro has some kind of personality. My car has memories, history, I've done all the work, ive driven it for 2 years now everyday. But there's just so much trouble involved with it now. I want to relate it to putting down a dog with rabies. I love this car, but I don't know how mic longer I can deal with it.. Then again I feel like as soon as its really gone I'll miss it.. It's a difficult decision. 3 months ago If you offered me a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, or anything for my Camaro I would've said no way.

OP I can't help you make up your mind but your mpg is ridiculous for only getting 550. Good luck

Whatever you decide, please don't talk about gas prices in this conversation!

There is no question, the Camaro is a great car. But I think the GT-R will quickly overshadow it. DO IT!!!!

I'm reading a lot of hype here about the GTR beating a ZR1... The ONLY thing the GTR has to edge the ZR1 is the awd. From a dig, the GTR will be hard to beat... meaning at the track.
Now let's step outside our Camaro5 world and into real life. From a roll or at highway speeds... When you tromp on both cars, the ZR1 will run away from the GTR since its already lost its grand advantage. Power... weight.... Aerodynamics... The zr1 tops it in all aspects. It's just nearly impossible to jump an awd car off the line. That's why the STi and Evos do so well against an ss at the track. Get them out on the highway and those little rice rockets are a mere spec in the Camaros rear view. Sent while on baby duty.... please sleep |

I personally would get a CTS-V, Z06 or save some more money and get a ZR1. Granted most of these won't solve your MPG issue but that's how I would spend that money

agreed. there's far too many good cars out there to be pigeon holed into one particular make or model. we're probably living in the second (and last) golden age of cars.
