OHHH and you have a VMAX Throttle body...Should I get that? I just had a BLACK ICE instaled....would the TB give me more power too? LOL sorry...just curious!
I recommend the ported tb... I have one & support the claim of upped butt Dyno experience. I don't think you will see a massive hp gain per true Dyno. However, it does get rid of the lower lug when not on the gas between initial gear changes on moderate/normal daily driving/takeoffs.

In true racing applications off road h-pipes generally produce better hp. X- pipes allow more efficient & smoother flow... these camaros do not seem to have any back pressure issues upon the multiple configs I ran until deciding upon the above preferred sound for myself.

The reason you want to go with the resonated x muffler is to eliminate drone as much as possible from deleting the rear resonator & trash can GM mufflers. This allows great flow for the rear/outside sound without making it a honda/ricer IMO.

I'd be interested in hearing mine with the rear cat's deleted... planned to go solo high flow to avoid code throws... you obviously have a tune which sounds dialed in!!!! Did you have rear cats removed prior to mods?

Ok not trying to thread jack but I don't want to start another exhaust thread.

I have BBK long tubes with cats, mag xpipe, stock res deleted, and mrt 1.0. Im content with it all but I wish it was a little deeper and a little of the drone was gone.

What are y'all's opinion on running 3" from the xpipe to the tips with the long tubes?

Thanks in advance

3" from the front to the back would annihilate your low end power, yes. Lol. We just do it from the x pipe back.

And to c_cook, DJ ATOMIX has shorties but you would be the first to run it with longtubes... it would probably be ridiculously mean. I say go for it.

Hey, can you do some videos with the cam off? Or just a comparison video?
