@StainTrain416, do not bash Camaro's on its forum. Simply state what your issue is but don't make it out to be a POS. Because Camaro5 does not need people like you especially as you stated, "I don't post on here much as you can probably tell" leads me to believe either you're a TROLL or you are completely anti-Camaro.

So, i leave you with that kind sir have a great day!

Not any more.
2015 Mustang GT with the Track Pack and Camaro 1LE, only 72 pounds difference.

Going Independent on the rear added weight but fixed a very long standing problem.

Straight line performance is a consistent dead heat. Anything with a turn and the Camaro walks all over the Mustang.

I haven't had a problem with the visibility. Watching too many reviews had me totally paranoid about the blind spot. Once I set up my mirrors as aI normally do, blind spot, gone.

mustang is a ford ffs...that is enough reason to steer well clear of it...if u intend to go fast or round corners than the s197 is a big no no..if u intend to go round corners and go over 100mph safely then the camaro is the car to buy

You get spots at certain angles when turning.

My 4th Gens had better visibility.

For me it was the LS3. Great performance out stock and takes to mods really well. I have modded every car I owned so I knew I would need a solid platform as I knew I would be modding it.

The other thing that sold me was the narrow windows. I really liked the narrow visibility for some reason. Still do.

Guess I have just been lucky so far. I haven't really noticed them to the point of being what I expected given the reviews.

I do look around more than I did in my RX-8. That is for sure. So perhaps my statement of 'gone' was too dramatic, but it isn't as bad for me, personally, as it was made out to be. LOL

The 2013 mustang is great, the coyote engine is very nice. The SS is a great car to, I loved my 2012 SS very reliable and a lot of fun to drive. LS engines are always great platforms as well and can handle mods like I'm sure the coyote can.

In the end of the day buy the car you like better and what makes you more happy.

The Buick is carbureted and it has better throttle response. You won't get a lot of "here's a bad thing about Camaros" here, but I'm not real shy.
That's easily fixed. http://www.vitesse-motorsports.com/t...010-camaro.htm

A VTC won't make an LS3 have 500+ lbft of torque out of the hole. Stage I Buicks have won the Fastest Muscle Car Shootout over hemis, Formula 400s, LS6es and the like. The 70 GS was arguably the quickest car of it's day, and that is coming from a Mopar guy. The good news in the 80s was you never saw them because they were pretty rare and hipo parts were not easy to come by for them.

The 2016 350GT and R

I haven't found any articles with track times. I'd like to see the numbers the new GT350 & the R are putting down. Like to see them compared to Camaro times.

Fords goal was/is for this Mustang to be a damn good track car, good in the turns and acceleration/braking. Pricing is well under Z/28 for the R. 50K for the GT + $6,500 for the track pack. The R is $7,000 above that, so it starts at $63,495.

Peak output of 526 HP @ 7,500 RPMs. Redline at 8,250. The article I just read estimates 0 to 60 time of 3.7 sec and top speed of 175 mph.

Oh, forgot to mention that the GT R edition also comes with factory Carbon-Fiber 19' wheels. 15 pounds lighter than the aluminum wheel.

Just finished reading the cover story on the Dec issue of Car & Driver, New Camaro vs Mustang. Still haven't found an actual track comparison, but this article was decent.

Price as Tested: Camaro SS $47,480 - and the Mustang: $43,070

They easily chose the Camaro over the Mustang. It's just more of a Muscle car and performs better. Quicker, better in the turns, and sounds like a Muscle Car should.

0-60 in 3.9 vs 4.4 for the mustang.
1/4 mile @ 12.3 sec @ 116 vs 13.0 sec @ 112.

Great numbers, those are about the same as my ZL1, for 10K less. Pretty impressive.
