my srt-4 stock runs 9.8 to 10.2 to 1

11.2 to 1 for LS3 is not bad at all

Per vararam.

Once we go into "full production" we are able to process the orders as quickly as we can produce the units - shop guys are estimating being able to do 100-125 in less than a week - given our parts suppliers are keeping up!!!!! Just a rough estimate now - but know that we will not rush production at any time to "just fill orders"!!!! Each unit will be high quality in looks and performance!!!!
Thanks
Steve

Thanks for the help Don't know what I'd do without your outstanding advice. Regardless, providing the A/F ratio numbers, which he couldn't, wouldn't have changed the results. That's my point. Not trying to say those numbers wouldn't be useful, but the test wasn't a "bad" test because he didn't have them.

Yes the Results are useful too tuners not to most of the members, As thy do not use HP tune or EFI Live, And to get the most out of CAI its the job of the manufacturers to set up the placement of the MAF as that is one thing that will change the AFR so i think that the manufacturer not letting us see the AFR is a sign that thy do not have it close to what it need to be.

One more thing chappy48 you and he said that he couldn't provide the A/F ratio numbers, That is BS all you had to do is put in a wide band in the tail pipe as you may know that is one way to do it. Hay the state of CA dos it this way for there smog test and all most all dyno shops have one so to say it couldn't be done is BS, Do you date log if you do and tune do you not find out the AFR is after you tune? come on think for your self, If i am not right then prove it show us the AFR or A/F what ever you in the bizz call it.

oh....ok. So not 100% accurate, but does show that obviously it makes HP. (as the beta-testers well know )

The only way I see anyone accepting any #'s from any CAI is to keep all the variables the same and only change out the air intake and a third party tester with nothing to gain from any of the companies. Then and only then will you gain more acceptance of the number by most ,but will always seem to have sceptics no matter what. I find 40 hp gain very interesting with just the CAI and will wait to see more data before I buy.

And that is what you need to do for your self as it is your car. All any one of us can do is read all the info out there and find what will work for them.

I got lucky i had a low VIN car and i let all the manufacturer use my car for fit and testing, So to say that i have a monetary desire to push the Vararam over the XYZ CAI is funny as i am not in the bizz of car parts or marketing.

I am a fanboy for this CAMARO only and want us all to have the best car, And the best parts out there and if i can help us all find the best parts that is what i have tried to do.

Buy what you think is the best for you, that is how it work in this country, But to insult someone that dos not see it the way you do is not how we do it in the US.

And in time we will see if i am right or not as i think that sooner then you think the VARARAM unit will be out and all this can end, It takes time to get it right, But to get it out only takes one day.
