On Saturday, June 23, we will be participating in the Somernites Cruise F-Body Gathering. The Somernites Cruise is a large, nationally known cruise-in located in Somerset, KY. For June, they will roll out the red carpet in their show-within-a-show specialty area for all F-Body owners! All Camaro’s including Rally Sport, Super Sport, Z28 and any other option will sit side by side with GM’s other performance car for the masses, the Firebird! Trans Am, Formula, honeycomb wheels and shaker hoods -- it’s all going to be here! All years of F-Bodies welcome, from old to brand new! Where and when are we meeting? We will meet at the I-71/75 South Rest Area (located between Mt Zion and Richwood exits) 9:00am and hit the road at 9:30am sharp. How much will this cost? We do not charge for our cruises and there is no entry fee for the Somernites Cruise. A full tank of gas is your only expense, though you may want to bring extra money to pick up a 2012 Somernites shirt or other item(s). Do I need to bring anything? Bring your cameras and camcorders.
It is also requested that you bring a two-way radio if you have one. This enables the caravan to stay in communication as need be (ie. sudden route change, car problems, bathroom break). We will tell you what channel to tune to at the driver meeting.

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
