I would LOVE to see the fest in Houston. I was told by a certain someone that RPR was too small...

Super Chevy show will be there end of this month and you'll see a ton of 5th gens there.

I think you're mistaking that for San Antonio... Size is not an issue at RPR... it's probably one of the biggest we've looked at.

Plenty of room for Pete's auto-x...

Virginia Motorsports Park!!! If it can host a Super Chevy Show, it can host the next C5Fest!

Dang. I wasn't planning on going to the Fest if it was farther west than Mississippi, but I don't know if I could turn down an offer to Houston..

.. Still. I vote for the East Coast.

Cause it's too small.

Take a look again at the picture and you'll see that 3/4 of that place is grass. All the pit parking (for everyone doing drags is out in the grass to the right of the pad (looking at the track heading out (or up north). The pad is filled for vendors. The bottom is staging and the left is ALL grass.

Where would the autocross go? There's no room. If we didn't care about autocross, it would be a perfect place.

But, again, these are my opinions only. Unless someone else could figure it out.

...and I don't think a few hundred car show participants want to be parking in the grass. Sure, we could do it if we had to, but...

Sooo just like Indy, it doesn't look like there's a road course at RPR. Is there a track in the Dallas area that has all 3? Drags, auto x and road course?

Word. Road course ftw! No problem paying extra like in Phoenix. Totally worth it.
