I've been talking to Julio at Alky Control about putting a meth kit on the car. I planned on doing it later on but I think it will be better to go ahead and do it now before I take it to GPI for tuning. So another $800 and another couple weeks.

I have done many, many builds over the years with this feature so you don't have to worry about it and it takes care of itself. And I don't care what anyone says, an .030 diameter hole is not going to change boost levels in anyway that can be measured except with very precision test equipment. It is negligible. I did testing on that years ago and couldn't even detect any difference. ALL my builds have this feature and have never had a water or oil slug build up. It's maintenance free!!!

Concerning your vacuum levels, if you haven't figured anything out, take my data and duplicate it with you vehicle and record and post it for comparison. Let's analyze the data and see exactly how far off you are. I can't comment unless I see the comparison at the same levels. Good luck.
I might very well try that. I can access the caps without pulling the front fascia so I'll be able to buy an extra cap, drill a hole in it and do a little back to back testing with it. I'm like you though, a .030 hole probably isn't big enough to let any boost out. I'm not sure where you get a .030 drill bit though. I'm sure I could order one of the internet.

As far as the vacuum goes, we're almost positive it's in the tune settings, not a leak or cam timing. MagnumForceGB is helping me look at it. He gave me a new config file with a lot more data to see. So I just now went and made a log for him to look at.

Really like this ARK exhaust. I was a little worried about the burnt tips but I love them.

I've gotten nothing but compliments on how those exhaust tips look, some people actually think the engine caused the burn marks.

Really nice! You've done a beautiful job! Magnum is the guy who can work programming out. He is great at manipulating programs. I admire his knowledge. Hopefully it won't be long, now. You must be really excited!

have you found out what might be causing the low vacuum pressure yet?

Still working on the Meth kit install. This is our busy time of the year at work so it's been hard to find time to work on it. Shouldn't be too much longer.

I see you keep buying stuff for the car, but has been been driven since the swap or still having issues?

I've put about 50 miles on it. The tune is still off. I have to use the paddle shifters because the shift points and lock up points are way off with this new converter. I planned on doing the Meth kit later but I didn't think about having to retune for it so I figured it would be better to just go ahead and do it now before I take the car to Gwatney.

The CircleD converter is pretty hardcore... Hopefully we can get the trans tune to where it has better drivability because it feels pretty loose right now. But I can already tell it's going to hit very hard!
