I think it has a better powerband and revs higher.

my bone stock 2011 auto equipped GT ran 12.63 on street tires with out even breaking a sweat. thats without a tune and not even an air pressure adjustment in the rear tires. it's entirely possible the Boss is that fast.

11.7+1.4 = 13.1. . . Do you really think that's all the 5.0 is capable of? The boss revs higher and puts down a solid 30+rwhp more than the stock GT with a much better suspension setup. It makes considerably more power at a higher rpm than the gt, building power all the way to redline. These runs are easily plausible.

I have no strict hate or disdain for Camaro owners. I know quite a few some of which are good friends. I do have a problem with ignorance however. Especially the type that is correctable but decision made not to do so. Best relation I can fathom is hitting yourself in the junk with a hammer, knowing it hurts, but not doing anything to prevent it from continuing.

I literally laughed out loud at the first bolded statement....using your "logic" I'd say that the pot calling the kettle black.

As far as the second bolded statement....I'm not sure what facts I need to accept. The fact that a 11' GT vs. a LS3 SS is a drivers race? Or the the fact that a RT Challenger isn't faster than an LS3 SS. Please clarify which "fact" you're talking about.

And finally, you sir define ignorant......your post history shows this. When you traded your SS for the GT it was the greatest thing ever. Then you got an RT and that car just BLEW UP the local SS crowd. Your shit is tiring and has zero value here.

Take your act to a mustang/challenger site....and take the rest of your "clan" with you. I wish the mods would clean house around here....

I don't have a dog in this hunt, as I do not own a Gen5 Camaro, modern Challenger or 2011+ Mustang, but from th eoutside looking in, it looks like members of both "clans" create more tension on this board that is needed.

Here's what I mean. This particular thread is an overall Mustang thread. The mods have even said they are using it to dump most of the topics concerning the Mustang into. That being the case, you still have members like ULTRAZS1 and Huggerorange73 (just to name the most recent) who KNOW this is a Mustang thread, but continue to come into it despite stating they are "tired of hearing" about the Mustang on a Camaro board. In fact, they usually use this thread to lobby the moderators to purge the site of Mustang owners they personally find offensive.

Fact is, this is a message board. Even if you get rid of the current members who "have nothing good to say about the Camaro and only seem to be here to talk up the Mustang", more people of the same mindset will find their way onto the board. Mod's know this, which is why I feel they try to keep a happy medium and allow dissenting opinion as long as it is not taken to far.

I am not aCamaro owner, but I still like to visit the site and learn more about the car and the general attitude of the people that do own them. I think that is true for most. What I just don't get is why some members who obviously have a distatse for the Mustang even come into a thread that is specifically noted as discussing that vehicle?

sorry but stock for stock it's nowhere close to a drivers race. the Mustang in auto form outruns the camaro LS3 in mph and E.T i just ran a 12.75 @111 today and my car isnt even broken in yet. my 2010 SS camaro was nowhere near that fast even after 10,000 miles. by the way that 12.75 was accomplished in drive with traction control on and launching off idle with all season radials....ZERO mods

And there is a member here who got 12.7 also I believe in a stock Camaro.
