With the Mace, avg pk was 259.56 at approx 6100RPM. A difference of 2.47hp.

But the important thing to see is that starting at 3000RPM up 6100, the Mace is making more HP and torque all the way up. Often it is a significant amount- the kind you can feel.

Its also worth noting that if you've got a 6spd, that 1-2 shift is successful alot more often at 6100RPM than up at 6500.

Valid Points!

All very true- until you have to bang it twice and finally ggrrind it in on the third try. By then you lose alot of time and most of your pride!
On my car its better to go a little early on that 1-2 shift and decrease the likelyhood of embarassment!

X2, although I'd rather be up closer to redline.

Should have an E85 update in a couple weeks. Hopefully the dyno graph will be set up the same as before to eliminate the confusion of the drop off in HP/TQ.

If you are talking about using airplane fuel...Aviation gas for piston engines is leaded. Do not use it. In avgas the 100LL (low lead) is the only grade in left in the USA. This will screw your piston rings and cook you catalytic converters.

I also wonder what happened to the vararam/insulator fit tester?? I guess it didn't go too well, but it wouldn't of been a surprise.

Aaron, can't wait to see the total number with e85 and the insulator

Don't worry about the plane gas LOL. Go with e85 if you want to go with higher octane gas.

well E85 is going to have to wait -_- probly after i get some more parts

our cars are e85 ready? no need to change out the injectors or things like that? also um..how do you do with gas and mixing? i mean im sure you dont wait till your gas is COMPLETELY empty to then fill up on e85 correct?

not the same as e85. e85 is something like 106 octane. Ethanol's chemical property is different than say your sunoco gasoline. The benefit is greater for performance and is good for the enviroment too

You will need an E85 tune... and yeah, you would want to get rid of all your non-e85 gas... load the E85 tune and then fill up with E85...
