The existing exhaust is a "H" pipe, so there is still a cross over, what difference the H versus a X makes on sound, I am not sure.

I remember reading that the H-pipe will create a lower, deeper sound and an x-pipe will create a more raspy, refined sound.

I really REALLy like the LM. Trouble is going back to the 4th gen that the LM was raspy and had drone. This car will be my wifes DD and I/she doesnt want ANY of that at all. I wonder how much drone there will be.

X-pipes act as a natural muffler and tend to be quieter then an identical H-pipe. However they also promote greater scavenging and thus more flow.

At the moment SLP are where its at unless maybe the borlas sound better. But SLP always sound good on the LS series motor and i am glad to see that holds true on the Camaro

really digging the first system. being that it's an axle-back...what can we expect with a full exhaust system(headers/x-pipe) in terms of sound, tone, and raspiness? i plan on doing the basic bolt-ons out of the gate but i fear this system could become borderline obnoxious...any thoughts
