is it just me or that yellow is not as bright as the yellow on the solstice?

I do have to say again that the Bumblebee color which is exactly "Sunrise" and is manufactured by Valspar or something indistinguishable has to be made available for order if GM wants to capitalize on the Transformer Bumblebee fans that want to buy this as their first car.. When I was a kid, if GM had offered the Pontiac Trans-Am that looked exactly like KITT from the TV show when I graduated from High School instead of the last generation model, I would have picked one up in a heartbeat. However I ended up getting a 98 Mustang instead.. I will get the car custom painted if it isn't available, however most people won't go that far or don't have enough money for it.. I do hope the grill and lights look like the concept and not even close to pre-pro grill..

If it doesn't, I am sure it won't be long till an aftermarket grill that looks like it is available.

Can't dude, that Bumblebee paint job is $10,000, GM won't be doing that. I'm not a Bumblebee fanatic but from the few we have on the boards (and our resident female BumbleBee!), they understand any yellow is better than no yellow. People will still see them drive by in whatever yellow GM is using and go... "Hey that's Bumblebee!!".

right on that sub lime color was pretty neat. and wow nice, did not know that they had brought back the colors at all, one thing i liked about mopar was thier color selection

Sry to blow the dust off of this old thread, but I was wondering, what happened to this car?? Is this one of the cars that the 15 people got to look at, or was it just a random color that got leaked? I'm just curious.

im sure that gm has come up with a color that will fill the bumble bee need. my car is painted inca gold, yet it looks yellow in the sun. that paint did not cost me a fortune to do. im sure that gm has the brains to come up with a simular color that does not cost an arm and a leg.

but some classic colours that should be on the new one can be:
hugger orange
hunter green
the classic white with orange stripe pace version
sky blue
cant rember the name red
velocity yellow
oo and one of my personal favs cortex silver

keep it up gm

If GM was smart, they should have been coming up with a similar color to use for the launch way back when Transformers came out.. The yellow offered is way too bright and is non metallic. At the very least they should have offered a metallic yellow. However I am don't venting about this as I also would have liked to see painted stripes that extend beyond the hood.. However all things considered, I'm just glad the Camaro is coming out eventually and I'm still having trouble deciding between IOM and CGM...

they already have 6/10 colors as metallics. i don't think they wanna over-do it with the flake. besides, a nice gloss yellow looks great on the Cobalt & Corvettes!
