I think all the car maker could benefit from this. What do you guys think?
I think thats how most throttles work right now anyway

Sounds like a good idea, would be fairly cheap to implement too. Only downside is if the pressure sensor goes out, you won't be going anywhere. Maybe have an option to turn it off on the car menu?

That could work ... though it would make more sense to me if Toyota simply reprogramed their car's computers so that braking always overrides throttle inputs. Its not as if anyone will be doing a brake-stand in a Corrola, right?

GM just launched a sales program to get toyota owners into GM vehicles after being barraged with calls by toyota owners.

http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...-owners-88415/

Quote:
The GM incentive program, which will run through the end of February, includes:

• Toyota lease holders can get up to $1,000 in lease payments to terminate their Toyota lease and buy or lease a GM vehicle. It applies to Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC vehicles.

• Financing buyers can get zero percent interest rates for 60 months on most GM vehicles.

• Cash buyers can get $1,000 down-payment assistance to get into a GM vehicle.

“It applies to any Toyota owner,” Hill said.

It's funny that all those cars are so different from one another but they all have the same problem....Wonder why that is? I mean if it were Toyotas built on the same basic design platform i could see all of them having the same problem. but gee, you see everything here... from a cheap 4 Cyl Corolla to the expensive V8 Tundra.

Ah, this is just the person we needed. In your opinion, and no one (or at I least I can say) will ridicule you for your response, which company is more helpful to the American Economy: GM or Toyota?
