I know the guy on the show said it was functional, but I gotta admit it wouldn't shock me to find out tomorrow that the hood scoop/louver/insert thing is just for appearance and has no actual openining into the hood. Would go right along with the rest of the disappointment of the '14 "updates"...

I just have to defend all the current Camaro owners who genuinely dislike this redesign, me included, from the sporadic shots we have taken from those who call us "haters." Perhaps we may be a bit biased towards our cars, but I can honestly say I'm not jealous of this refresh even though I just got my 2013 3 months ago. This really is a wretched design and whoever thinks otherwise, let me know - I know a some great ophthalmologists! Whose with me?!

FYI: I posted this on another thread similar to this, but put it here also because I really feel strongly about it

The more I look at it and study the blurry shots the more I think it will look better when we see better shots..

My only concern like most is the rear end but we really need better pics and shots of it. Wish I could have seen it in HD today..

The front looks o.k., sleeker and dynamic. The wheels are nice. Not sure about the back and the rear lights. Will get a better view tomorrow. Marketing should have "leaked" pictures of the 2014 to coincide with this sneak peak.

It's actually closer to 65-35. And I'd bet 5-10% of the 35% voted on the 1st pic alone and would change their vote if they could.

I was hoping for a rear end close to the new Vette. That would have been badazz imo.

Over at a friend's place hanging out and I brought up the pics. First thing her new guy friend says is that the rear end looks like a 90s Prelude with those lights. LOL
