I imagine the engine will live longer at lower boost levels. But I'll definitely be set on max at the track.

Ryan's the man, he has all the knock sensors working like factory and they are picking up zero KR with 18lbs of boost and 91octane pump gas at over 600 to the wheels. And this is with only 18 degrees of timing. Could probably make even more power but this is right at the limit of the trans anyway so why push it. The 604hp was unlocked, he did a hero pull at the end when Aaron got there which was like 660 with std correction prob like 625 sae. But I didn't get that paper so I'll just say 604.

And I hope this takes over a second off my 1/4 mile time. I have a good feeling about it. As long as she holds together lol
You have the Circle D triple in it right? Did he say why he didn't lock it?

I don't think you're really supposed to lock the converter on the dyno. It's either bad for the car or bad for the dyno can't remember which. He actually left the convertor unlocked at WOT in the tune because he thought it felt a lot better. That's something I can play with at the track though.

OK, just curious cause i have been spending a lot of time data logging passes to see how quickly it locks and how it affects my 25-80mph time. Stock settings it around 2.4 seconds to lock. I had it locking in half that at 1.2 seconds, but the car slowed. 1.5-1.7 seconds seems pretty good. If you do try messing with it, i found on my 2012 that the TCC Ramp didn't do anyting, but in fact i had to modify the 4wd Lo TCC ramp to adjust it. Not sure why that is, but that table will vary the lock time.

That's strange, I'll remember that. I'll prob just run it unlocked the first time out and test it out and data log

I've decided to add an electric vacuum pump to my Elite E2-X evac system so that I can evac as much crankcase pressure as I can while under boost. The Elite system works exactly like it should but since my air filters are mounted directly to my turbo housings without any intake piping, I just can't seem to pull as much vacuum as I would like. This pump moves a lot of air and should work well as long as I can keep the oil out of it. I will just be hooking it up to the 2nd outlet of the E2-X can so it will still work the same way. I will put a 1-2psi hobbs switch in my vacuum lines so it will turn the pump on anytime I go into boost.

This is actually a pump used on 4.6L dohc cobras for crankcase evac.

Wow, the long wait is over, nice to see you are up and running with numbers to back it up. 600whp is insane on stock fueling. Can't wait to see what you put down on the track, best of luck!

Thanks, we're using 100% methanol as fuel so it helps. GPI actually took quite a bit of fuel away from the tune. I'm spraying meth with twin 10# nozzles so it's a lot. I think I used 2 gallons in the one day of tuning and playing a little around Little Rock.
