I put my fist down and ordered those cars to be delivered!!! I don't know if that will help or not.

To your question - I'm not the OP but let me say from my own experience that yes, they get it. I know for a *fact* that the great people building our cars get it... they enjoy it... they love it... and some of them have also bought the car and are waiting just like us (imagine having a hand in building your own car!) to get it. A couple of these individuals on the line, who I won't name, did things for me that can only be described as "above and beyond" - so much so that they alone have changed my perspective on what a car buying experience can/could/should be.

Do they get it? H*ll yes... big time.

I'm with super60. We took a year off in order to be part of this. Most of the people are still enthusiastic and pumped about being part of this car.

Ya, I had to step away for little while because of the few rabbit trails that popped up, but always good info to be found

How are things going on the line with all the new additions/changes?

Hey there Mr. Mole, keep up the good work! Do you have any info on the manual v6's. I'm still waiting for mine, vin #117. I hope that when the new parts come in they will fix mine right away.

p.s. I live Oakville and I'm glad you hard working fellow Canadians are building these amazing cars.

Mole,

Can you clarify if/when/how long you plant will be shutting down? I was told 1 week, but I'm not sure when that week is.

Thanks!

From what I understand, demand is so high that they are not shutting down and are going to offer OT in June for Saturdays.

Plant shut down is only going to be one week this summer. The week beginning July 6th.

Absolutely! I have a trip planned to go to Raddison Quebec. It's on James Bay almost to Hudson Bay. Look it up. In Sept. I'm going to Johnsville Tenn. for an FJR rally.

Hey mole off topic but what is the news about bankruptcy and liquidating gm canada? I hope the news is good for all of you up there and liquidation is not an option.

That is good news. I would hate to see another community put at the mercy of the current economy. I hope the government GM and the union do work out a deal soon.
Just to clarify I am not being selfish for my Camaro. Genuine concern for the livlihood of our brethren north of us.
