Did you change out the driveshaft to a 1pc?

No I just bought the back half of a V8 driveshaft and put them together. I wanted one before but now I'm glad I didn't because a lot of people say it gives a all or nothing feel where the factory shaft with the rubber gives a much more smooth feeling. I know it would be better but I doubt I will be twisting driveshafts... I'm no Rick Hairsine.

Well the day is finally here, track time! What's funny is I blew my old motor on Sept. 25th last year. Today is two days shy of being a year to the day. Hopefully I'll get to take it home in one piece this time. I'm a little worried about the transmission and if it can hold this much power at the track when I actually hook good. I'm going to take it easy the first pass or two and feel it out. I'll try to get a 2.0 60ft so I can see the improvement from last time out running the 12.1 times. Then if all feels ok I'll try to leave real hard and break some records...

Because I think smaller is better for a turbo car. More velocity. The turbos will make 18psi no matter what size the TB is, wastegates determine that. The LF3 twin turbo caddillac motor has a smaller TB than the LFX and makes 120 more hp. And I know a guy with 1000+ hp twin turbo v8 and he runs a stock unported TB.
