It was an 1/8 mile. But I say screw it and pave the whole damn property!! Dont need concession stands, grandstands, etc. Just room to run and park-n-watch

It would be based on if there was enough room for a 1/4 track and regulation slow down area and pit. It would be great if we could set it back up.

From what I heard in the later years the new housing developments were complaining about the noise and that played a part (however small) in it being put up for sale.

Damn fools move in knowing there is a track nearby and then start complaining about the noise.

Jon, most people nowdays ONLY want to go to a 1/4 mile. Thats a big reason the track started going away.

I only spoke with the guy (John) over the phone and also visited his office when he was not their. John said that the ownership is in process of being handed over to an automotive company... he did not specify who the company was. I did not mention anything about leasing it.

Contact them for yourself:

Don't mention my name. lol

Let us know what happens!!!

Good luck!

I don't know if anyone has answered your question but there is no where in jacksonville that does chrome plating. There is a place down south (Ft. lauderdale I think) that did some chrome plating on some of my last bikes parts. they do awesome work. If its something you can ship and your interested i can find the name of the company.
