based on what we can see, it looks like he's bouncing from one web proxy to another.

The problem with IP banning is you can accidentially ban a regular user or even a new user trying to join. IP addresses (especailly mobile devices) get swaped around between people with the same Internet service.

And that rearely keeps someone, who just Has to be a pest, off the boards.

Like I've said before, we're just gonna make a game of it... and keep score to see what mod/admin bans him the most

Tran is way out in front right now...

Sadly, the more folks rise to the guy's baiting, the longer it stays fun for the dipshit and likely the longer he will persist.

We ban IP here. We're having a little more trouble with this one. Eventually, he'll get bored. When he does, we'll spontaneously show up at his house in our A-Team-looking Mod Squad van and throw TNT at his house.

Most large boards, Not that we are all that big, have the "persistent" troll.

I'm surprised we haven't had this happen sooner. No biggie...

I don't understand why they do it. but I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over it... We'll just have fun with it.

In my experience...people like this are especially insecure...and so view ANY authority figure as a challenge to "win" or "beat"...even an internet forum... I'm sure in their own minds it's perfectly sane...but from our perspective...

We'll just keep knocking him down every time he pops up. It really is sad...

But, I would be happy to give out all of his email addresses. We could then get every board member here to send him all sorts of spam messages and computer viruses. How's that sound?
