Quick update - My car ended up on 4B00 for 6 days. from the time it was built to the time it was officially shipped = 11 days

20 days at 4B00...waiting on stripes! Once the stripes are applied...I will join the 4B00 status again. I hope the stripes get applied soooooooooooooon!!!!

After orange hood stripes, I was bayed and shipped on the same day. No waiting at all.

09/15/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.

Tracked my car down and was told by GM that it is in CANADA for possible QC. No other reason given only that they will call me on Monday with a follow up. What the hell is going on with GM?

I think it is waiting stripes. I have heard rumors that the 45th Anniversary stripes are 3-4 week delay. I have been 4B00 since the car was birthed on 9/9 and it still needs to ship, ship back, and get bayed again.

All us 45th Anniversary owners can cry together...maybe we should start our own "45th Anniversary and waiting" thread!

Hearing your story makes me depressed... I've been built 9/26, even though I'm was a 9/19er, and now I'm in the same boat.

Got a call from GM who advised that the 45th Editions that have been bayed are stuck because of stripes. He told me to be patient and something should happen soon. Patient! I have no more fingernails left and I am starting to wonder what he means "SOON."

I cannot believe they did not expect to have enough stripes for the Camaro 45th Edition Models!

My dealer said he found one just like mine and was trying to trade with another dealership, but that did not pan out just yet. I just hate waiting.....

This whole stripes thing in general just blows my mind!

First of all, I don't understand why they can't put them on in the factory. They can handle putting the entire car together, but rubbing some vinyl stickers on needs to be handled by a third party?!

Secondly, how can there be 9/5ers STILL waiting to get stripes?! Do they deliver them by foot? It should be a 3 day turnaround MAX!

Add another to the list.... day 5 for me so we will see. How many 45thr's are there in here, and has anyone confirmed it is a stripe shortage?

That would be a shame if us 45th AEs are indeed waiting on stripes. I really don't care for the stripes. I fell in love with the paint color. Wish there was a way to order it without the stripes.

There is a stripe delete option when you order the car. Various people on the forums chose that option when ordering but I think the stripes are part of what makes the 45th special from the factory.
