Hey TONYFRED, How did you get into relearn mode? Did the horn honk? Can't figure this cub trigger tool out. I can't get the horn to honk. Any help is always appreciated. Thanks

Thanks very much for the tip on the Cub tool.
It worked great.

For those wanting to know how to use it:
1. Go to the screen on your DIC that shows the tire pressures.
2. With new wheels/sensors, they will show a ? (or something) instead of psi.
3. Hold in the button at the end of the turn signal stalk until it offers the option of relearning the sensors.
4. Then select the option to relearn.
5. Turn on the Cub and set it up to scan for Cadillac, CTS, 2009, or whatever year comes up first.
6. Put the Cub next to the first sensor per the instruction diagrams and scan.
I did the order per the Cub manual for A (Cadillac CTS) systems: driver front, passenger front, passenger rear, driver rear.
The horn honks after the car has relearned each particular sensor.
After all 4 sensors have been relearned, the horn honks twice.
Enjoy !

I love tools and hate relying on others to do things for me..
I picked this up because I had a credit I had to use. This device tells you everything about your TPMS sensors, pressure, temperature, battery life etc.
I was a little disappointed that it wouldn't work on my Wife's Mazda (they don't use sensors anymore, they use rotational difference from setpoint to determine loss)
Woudl have loved to have known that the $19.95 unit worked!! LOL

Here's the answer to the original question of what works..
If anybody is in the Lehigh Valley and needs this set, hit me up, it's literally a 2 min parking lot job.

I have a late-build 2011 SS and just put on a brand new set of 21" GM wheels pulled from a 2010 SS (after taking off my winter wheels). Even though my OM says I need the tool, I followed the printed instructions in this post and was able to reset the TPMS perfectly. Went to the Tire Pressure section of the Vehicle Information Menu, pressed and held the Reset button, answered Yes to the question of if I wanted to relearn. Got two horn chirps. Then removed air in correct sequence--only took five seconds of air released per tire and the horn chirped as I was letting the air out. After the fourth tire, two chirps. Tires had all started at 34 PSI. I turned the key to the off position, waited two minutes and turned the key to Start position and Tire Pressure was reading at 31 PSI all around. So, this process did work (as published) on a late 2011 with 21" wheels from a 2010.

did the recal with the menu reset, then let air out, horn honked after each time i let the air out, so thanks for the instructions, all pressure sensors read correct now.
