We all knew you counted for 1 vote, but who's the other one? Also, you spelled Canuck wrong. Secondly, nowadays domestic typically refers to either cars that are manufactured in North America because of things like NAFTA and the fact that Ontario builds more cars that Michigan. Or domestic means any vehicle produced by Ford Motor Company, General Motors, or Chrysler Corporation and sold in North America. Either way, the Camaro would still be a domestic (you spelled that wrong too)

Its wrong
Yup See? http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dumbestic. I had to check for myself, I thought I might be wrong since you are so sure of yourself. A few other sources, including different regional dictionaries. Nothing http://www.websters-online-dictionar...tion/dumbestic http://ca.encarta.msn.com/encnet/ref...px?q=dumbestic http://www.dictionary.co.uk/browse.aspx?word=dumbestic None of them seem to be able to find the word 'dumbestic'. And neither could the spellcheck that I have for internet explorer, firefox, and MS word. I don't have a real dictionary to check with but . . . I don't think I could find it.

Can anyone with a late model 4th gen Camaro look at the build sticker in the front door and tell me where it was built? I am betting it was in Canada. That plant was building Camaros for a long time and there was a legal battle when GM was going to bring back the Camaro, it was supposed to be built in the Canada plant.

It was built in St Therese (sp?) Quebec. The plant is gone now

^Yes...all 4th Gens were built in the St.Therese plant in Canada. They did a wonderful job and it was a sad, sad day when they had to close down.
Yes, the 5th Gen is being built in Canada...this time in Oshawa and it's going to be 1,000 times better! Their plants produce some awesome cars. I simply can't wait. |

well they still classify all the japanese cars that are made in th USA imports so it would still be a "American" car

"Camaro", "Chevy", and "GM" are American. The car itself is international with ideas, parts, and designs coming from a large variety of places. If you were going to assign any one country to it, it would most definitely be American.
