Actually I guy I used to hang out with had some strange compulsion to run from the cops if he got caught speeding or being an smuck while driving, last time we talked about insurance rates he was looking at 4-5k per MONTH, Once He managed to flip / roll his jeep across 6 lanes of freeway and land in the trees on the opposite side of the freeway and crawl out the back window as it caught fire.

Myself however Im 34 and paying 160 a month for the 11 vert ss and a 10 phantom (bike) with full coverage on each.

I would never pay 4K a year for insurance and don't think that I ever have.

We pay roughly $140/month for TWO brand new cars, full coverage up to $300,000. Our premium drops every 6 months and we just got these two cars this year.

Damn I don't pay that much a year total for my house, 2 boats, and 3 cars.

I guess thats one of the nice things about getting old, insurance companies love ya.

Be thankful you are not in Michigan... would probably be at about 22k per year then lol. I'm older with a clean record and my rates are probably double what I would pay in any other state.

I pay only 82$ a month for a 2013 2ls camaro. Much cheaper than some people that drive less sportier cars that i know.

Some of you guys are nuts...I pay $1,200 per year for a Cavalier, Camaro SS, and Hummer H3. It pays being 30 sometimes! No wonder you dont see alot of teens driving these!
